About Jen
Jen was raised in a variety of small New England hamlets, spending her adolescence in a town that has as section officially named “Podunk.” (No, really, East Brookfield MA.) She received a B.A. degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and her M.Div. degree from Andover Newton Theological School where she received the Koinonia Preaching Award. She holds ordained standing in the United Church of Christ and currently serves as the Senior Pastor of one of those beautiful tall-steepled white churches on a town common.
She has been performing her comedy act at a variety of locations in New England and around the country as the swing member of Rabbi Bob Alper's Laugh in Peace Comedy Tour. Jen constantly tries out new material on her long-suffering (but willing) friends and family. In her spare time she enjoys writing dramatized stories and screenplays about life as a clergy person/wife/mom/comic - which unfortunately don't need much drama added. Really, this stuff writes itself!
